What is the Rommelag Pharma Platform (RPP) and what does it actually connect?

The Rommelag Pharma Platform (RPP) connects a bottelpack system with the customer's shop floor network, office systems, and Rommelag's own service center, giving access to a detailed information model and enabling integration with third-party tools through a standardized OPC UA interface. The RPP splits every connected network into three physically separate zones — Production Zone, Monitoring Zone, and Service Zone. The Production Zone can only send data, transmitted as light signals through a hardware data diode with no return channel, so data reaches the office network and cloud without any possibility of external influence on the production line itself. Rommelag runs the same platform on its own bottelpack lines in its CDMO production, so the tool is proven against Rommelag's own daily operations before it's offered to customers, not only tested in a demo environment.

How does Rommelag's Machine Hub support maintenance and spare parts management?

The Machine Hub is Rommelag's cloud-based portal where customers can view operating data per machine, access spare parts lists, technical drawings, and operating manuals, and plan maintenance based on actual runtime information rather than fixed intervals.
