Value Proposition

A BFS platform for more efficient LVP production

In LVP production, the machine itself accounts for only 15% of the unit cost. The larger opportunity lies in the remaining operating factors that shape Total Cost of Ownership across the line: output per hour and square meter, downtime, quality-related effort, cleanroom space, and resource consumption.

The bp 700 was developed from the ground up on a blank sheet of paper to address these factors and reduce the hidden 85%.

Benefits

Key advantages of the bp 700 platform

The bp 700 is designed to improve the operating factors that have the strongest influence on Total Cost of Ownership in LVP production.

The bp 700 is designed to increase output while using space more efficiently and reducing facility constraints. For manufacturers working within existing buildings, that creates more flexibility for modernization and consolidation. It also reduces the burden on the classified area by relocating key elements outside the cleanroom and simplifying access and cleaning.

  • Up to 40% more output per hour
  • 10% more bottles per square meter
  • Only 20% of the aseptic cabinet located in the classified area
  • Room height of 3.5 m for use in existing buildings
  • CIP and vacuum cleaning run in parallel, saving 30 minutes per cycle

The bp 700 is designed to recover production time by simplifying changeovers, cleaning, and maintenance across the process. The result is more usable capacity without adding another machine.

  • Format changes in under 2 hours, with quick connectors that eliminate time-consuming coupling and decoupling
  • 75% faster than previous models
  • Approx. 330 additional production hours per year
  • Roughly 1 million additional bottles per year
  • Smart format monitoring (RFID-based) that prevents misconfiguration
  • Clean nozzle cores in 15 minutes instead of four hours, with one operator instead of two

Smart digital solutions and automated documentation help reduce manual quality effort while supporting clearer process control, lower human error,  more consistent product quality, and faster batch release. Guided operation, structured presets, and smart format monitoring all support safe, repeatable day-to-day production.

  • Guided HMI: Clear step-by-step operator guidance minimizes human error
  • Comprehensive process monitoring using defined CPPs
  • Faster batch release
  • Automated documentation to reduce manual quality effort
  • Digital quality systems with MES / Historian integration
  • GAMP Category 4 software structure
  • Simplified recipe structure for format changes, product changes, cleaning, and polymer changes

Practical design changes help reduce material use, energy demand, water consumption, and wear-related operating effort. The bp 700 is designed to improve efficiency in a way that also lowers resource consumption over time and extends component life.

  • 25 tons less plastic per year through improved head-mold design
  • 30% lower energy consumption per bottle
  • 80% reduced water consumption through sprayball cleaning - saving 2,000 liters per cycle
  • Double the lifetime of the parison cutting system  through bidirectional cutting

bp 700 Platform

One platform. Multiple configurations.

The bp 700 platform is designed as a family of models for different output and capacity requirements. It supports scalable growth, future volume changes, and upgrade paths within one standardized platform concept. The platform is scalable from 100 to 1,000 ml, and future volume changes are supported through additional molds.

  • bp 710:  Entry-level platform configuration for specialty products and selected output requirements. (Coming soon)
  • bp 730: Core platform configuration for standard LVP production requirements, upgradeable to bp 750.
  • bp 750: Higher-capacity platform configuration for maximum output and full flexibility. (Coming soon)
